Punta

Punta is a “wild” city beach located at the very tip of the Piran peninsula. It is a favorite spot for locals and visitors who enjoy its authentic, rugged seaside feel.

How to get there

The beach is located at the furthest point of Piran’s old town. Since the city is mostly car-free, it is only accessible on foot or by bicycle. The walk from the main Tartini Square along the promenade takes about 10 minutes.

Why visit?

Punta offers some of the most dramatic views and the best sunset-watching spots on the entire Slovenian coast. The water is clear, and the rocky shoreline is great for snorkeling. Just steps away, you’ll find plenty of local restaurants and bars in the heart of old Piran.
