Seaside Park Koper (Obmorski park)

Recently opened in 2022, this modern seaside park connects Koper with Žusterna. It represents a major transformation of the former coastal road into a vibrant recreational space. The park features large green areas with new patches of grass perfect for sunbathing and relaxing, while the shore itself is composed of pebbles with easy access to the water. A unique feature of the park is a small man-made island that has quickly become a local landmark.

How to get there

Located along the scenic coastal promenade between Koper’s city center and Žusterna. It is exceptionally easy to reach on foot or by bicycle from either direction. For those arriving by car, the large Žusterna parking lot is situated right next to the park, providing convenient access.

Why visit?

It is the newest and most modern addition to Koper’s coastline, offering a spacious and fresh environment for all ages. Families will particularly enjoy the extensive grassy areas and the small island, which is fun to explore. Its location right next to the Žusterna Olympic pool complex and its proximity to both Koper and Žusterna make it a perfect spot for a full day of seaside activities.
