Debeli rtič

Debeli rtič (Thick Cape) is a stunning landscape park and one of the most pristine parts of the Slovenian coast. It is famous for its high flysch cliffs and rich underwater biodiversity.

How to get there

Located at the northernmost point of the Slovenian coast near the Italian border. You can reach it by car from Ankaran, following the signs for the Debeli rtič Youth Health Resort. There is a large parking area nearby, followed by a short walk to the shore.

It is an ideal spot for nature lovers and those seeking a quieter experience. The underwater world is exceptionally rich, making it a top choice for snorkeling. The surrounding park also offers beautiful walking paths and plenty of natural shade from Mediterranean pines.
